Richard M. Nickerson, President, AIF®

Rich has been in the financial services industry for twenty-five years. He has been a registered or licensed financial advisor for close to twenty years and possesses the Series 66 license which qualifies him to register as an Investment Advisor Representative and as a Securities Agent. This exam is administered in conjunction with the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA). Rich has the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation (AIF®).The AIF Designation certifies that the recipient has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process.

Early in his career, Rich was an integral part of owning and operating Nickerson Financial Corporation with his father and brother. Nickerson Financial Corporation was a commercial mortgage company that specialized in assisting property owners and investors in arranging their mortgage financing in the $500,000 to $5,000,000 + range. In addition, Rich was a licensed real estate broker and assisted in selling commercial properties for their clients. In this capacity, Rich assisted clients in the investment analysis of properties.

In the early 2000's, Rich and his wife Dawn moved to Maine to raise their young children near Dawn's family. Rich joined a local bank as a financial advisor and since that time has enjoyed a successful career helping Maine individuals, families, and business owners achieve their financial goals and dreams. Rich has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Boston University.


Andrew M. Nickerson, Vice President, CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®

Andrew “Drew” Nickerson earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Maine in 2014. While at UMaine he was involved with the student run SPIFFY organization (Student Portfolio Investment Fund) as Vice President of Equities.

Prior to joining Eagle Financial Strategies Drew worked at a Bangor Maine investment advisory firm working first as a Client Associate before being promoted to a Financial Advisor position. 

Drew possesses the Series 66 license which qualifies him to register as an Investment Advisor Representative and as a Securities Agent. 


David M. Robbins, CRC®, RSSA®

Dave earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute, his Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Maine at Portland-Gorham, and a Master's Degree in education from the University of Southern Maine.

Mr. Robbins has been in the financial services industry for over twenty-five years. He possesses the Series 65 license which qualifies him to register as an Investment Advisor Representative and as a Securities Agent. This exam is administered in conjunction with the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA).

Dave is a Registered Social Security Analyst®, RSSA®. The RSSA® designation is offered by the National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts, LTD,Meville, NY. As a RSSA®, Mr. Robbins is a specialist in Social Security income planning and assists retirees with their Social Security claiming decisions.  Knowing when to start collecting Social Security benefits for many retirees is one of the most important financial retirement decisions they will make as they prepare for their future retirement.

Dave also has the CRC® designation, Certified Retirement Counselor. The CRC® certification is offered by the International Foundation of Retirement Education (“inFRE”). The CRC® certification is a professional designation that enables financial advisors to address the challenges facing today's retirees. The CRC® program was developed with original research and analysis by a team of highly respected retirement practitioners in partnership with the academic guidance of the Center for Financial Responsibility at Texas Tech University.

Previously, Dave, had been a Registered Representative for American Independent Securities Group, LLC.  Prior to that, Mr. Robbins was a Financial Advisor for a number of years with Key Investment Services, LLC and Bangor Financial Services.

 


Heather L. Gould, Office Manager

As the Office Manager for Eagle Financial Strategies, Heather is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the firm. Prior to joining Eagle Financial Strategies in 2010, Heather worked for many years in the retail sales industry where she held various supervisory and management positions. She also worked as an insurance billing specialist for the area's largest healthcare provider. Heather has always focused on excellent client service and satisfaction and through this she has built a loyal following with Eagle Financial's clients. 


Park O. Johnson, III

Park has over 33 years of financial services industry experience. After working for a leading financial services company early in his career, he felt he could better serve his clients by forming his own independent firm. Eagle Financial Strategies is the product of this vision and the company has successfully assisted individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits reach their investment and financial planning goals for over thirty years.

Park holds a Master's Degree in Financial Services from the American College.  He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Husson University and an Applied Sciences Degree from Lucerne County Community College. 

He founded Eagle Financial Strategies on Biblical principles of being good stewards of the possessions we have been given. He uses his education and life experiences to relate to those he serves.


Eunice F. Johnson

In October 2013 Eunice joined her husband, Park Johnson, at Eagle Financial Strategies and now works with Park as his Assistant.

Prior to joining Eagle Financial Strategies, Eunice had a 35-year career working for the US Department of Labor Job Corps program. She held various positions as Human Resources Director, Operations Director and Education Consultant at the corporate and national levels and Center Director at the Center level.
